Merry Christmas

The big day is over, but we are still counting all of our blessings! We had a beautiful white Christmas here in Southern Illinois, full of action.

Christmas for us started on Christmas Eve morning, when Santa arrived a day early so we could travel to Bethalto for Christmas Day. Grandpa Bill was able to make it down to Bethalto, through the 5 inches of Peoria snow, to spend the day with us also. We had a great time visiting with family and Clark had a great time playing with his cousins.

We hope you all had a blessed Christmas weekend also!

Clark's favorite present of the morning was a new addition for his train track, especially the tunnel that makes sounds when the trains go through! Here he is making us a pizza from his "Pizza Shop"

Clark had a great time with Grandpa Bill...

And Grandma and Papa Blasa

Clark and Grayson opening each other's presents. Most of the morning was spent with them racing there cars back and forth through the living room...Boys!

Mason and Clark...Christmas buddies

They are just too cute...from the looks of the picture, I think Grandpa Blasa thinks so too!

The two "bellies" as we were lovingly called. Amy (Mason's Mom) is due in January...I have a little longer to wait.

Back home, Clark enjoyed playing with his Black and Decker set. He's all ready to help his Dad on his woodworking projects!

Getting into the Christmas Spirit

It was easy to get in the holiday spirit this weekend while shopping on Michigan Avenue with two great friends amidst the holiday bustling, 4 inches of snow and holiday decor. Thanks to Gopi and Sunil for putting me up for the weekend and Elizabeth for meeting us and spending the afternoon in the cold snow! Can't wait to see you girls again soon!

This is not the best holiday picture, since I forgot to take a picture before it got dark out. But, you may be able to see the Christmas Lights and falling snow if you look hard enough down Chicago's Michigan Avenue.

Sarin and I...Can't wait till him and Clark get to run around together!

Oh yeah...a random picture of Clark I took tonight, because I thought it was just too darn cute!

Weekend of Thanksgivings

I think we all got enough to eat with both the Blasa and French sides of the familes. We were able to spend Thursday with the Blasa's (Thanks again Amy for hosting!) and Saturday with the French's (Thanks Mark and Cindy!) Of course, don't forget Black Friday shopping. It was nice visiting with everyone and hope to see everyone again soon.

Hunter's Weekend

We had a great weekend with the Jumpers for our annual hunting event. While the boys hunted and brought home the meat, Jamie and I kept up with the little ones and spent a lot of time in the kitchen. A great way to spend a dreary November weekend!

Clark got some "quality time" with 10 week old Amelia
He is in training for how to act around his soon to be baby brother.

Day Out With Thomas

The Blasa's had a great time yesterday spending the day with Thomas the train.

Thomas made his way to Granite City to give rides and other train related activities for the kids.

Clark thought it was pretty cool!

Play Date

Clark and I met our friends, the Clapp's, in Effingham Thursday. The boys had a fun time playing at the park while we were able to catch up a little. Lisa and I went to NIU together...who knew 7 years later we would have these three little monkeys!
